Reaching the editor

One address reaches Kestrel Desk: [email protected]. It goes to Aurelio Bassani, Trading Strategy Editor, who writes and signs off everything published here. There is no contact form, no phone line, no live chat and no support desk, because there is no wider staff to route a message to. Messages are read in any of the five languages this site publishes in.

A useful message names the page, quotes the sentence, and says what is wrong with it. Where a claim is disputed, a link to the primary source — IQ Option's own pages, the CySEC register, an ESMA decision — settles the matter far faster than a description of it.

What gets a reply

What this desk cannot help with

Kestrel Desk is a publisher, not a broker and not an agent of one. It has no access to any account, no line into IQ Option's systems and no ability to act on your behalf. Anything that touches your own account belongs with the broker's own support:

Three further things are outside what this desk will answer, and no phrasing of the question changes that:

Requests for a win rate, a payout figure, an expected return or a backtest also go unanswered, for the reason set out across the site: no such number is published here, and a private email is not a loophole in that rule. A regulated firm may not promise you a return, and neither will its independent coverage.

How messages are handled

Mail is read by one person and worked through in the order it arrives, with corrections that point at a primary source taken first. No response time is promised, and some messages — particularly the ones asking for advice — receive no reply at all. A correction that proves out is acted on whether or not it is acknowledged, so it is worth sending even without an answer.

Do not send account credentials, card details, identity documents or anything else confidential. Nothing sent here can be used to recover an account, and it should not be entrusted to an inbox that has no need of it.
