Course Overview

The IQChart End User Training focuses on how to enter data, generate reports, and run data validation reports. This type of training is targeted for data managers without significant IT skills or experience. Extensive time is taken to explain basic concepts of computer operations, terminology, navigation, backup, restore, as well as to help participants achieve a basic understanding of IQChart data entry and reporting. A comprehensive user manual accompanies the training sessions in addition to supplemental materials.

Training can be conduct training in Kirwanda, English or French.

Duration: This is a 3 day course.

Curriculum

• Product installation and configuration
  • Install the database application
  • Configure product as standalone or networked
  • Set up for an existing or new site
• Data entry
  • Create and edit patient records
  • Add, view and edit patient medical data
  • Use the patient search tool
  • Understand business rules employed for quality data entry
• Facility Dashboard and reports
  • Understand and use the facility dashboard
  • Perform data cleaning and run data validation reports
  • Run facility, donor, data quality and user reports
    

Prerequisites

This course is designed for all hospital and clinical users of IQChart, including data entry clerks, clinicians, M&E and IT staff. Basic use of a computer is required for clinician and data entry clerks.
